Zeker Zilt aims to demonstrate that there are solutions for crops in areas affected by salinity, supporting the entire chain from the grower to the consumer. This includes conditions for cultivating healthy, flavorful crops, up to consumers becoming acquainted with and appreciating products from salinity areas.
According to Zeker Zilt, part of the solution lies in new robust potato varieties and specific organic fertilization to create added value through quality and taste improvement, a healthier soil, and an increase in healthy nutrients in the crops.
Zeker Zilt aims to prove with this project and these improvements that there is a profitable future in cultivating crops under saline conditions.
