De 84e Internationale Gr\u00fcne Woche (IGW) in Berlijn vond dit jaar plaats van 18 tot 27 januari en werd bezocht door meer dan 1700 deelnemers van over de hele wereld. IGW biedt gelegenheid voor bedrijven in de voedsel-, landbouw- en horticultuur sector om hun producten en innovaties te delen en te verspreiden.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"duits\"\n\t

Het Ministerie van Landbouw, Natuur & Voedselkwaliteit heeft Salt Farm Foundation gevraagd om deel te nemen aan dit evenement omdat we hun visie vertegenwoordigen met onze producten en service. Op 18 januari waren hiervoor de voorzitter Paulien van Stijn en de directeur Marc van Rijsselberghe aanwezig.<\/p>\n

Samen hebben zij de mogelijkheden die zilte landbouw biedt in verzilte gebieden gepresenteerd. Daarnaast hebben ze het gehad over de activiteiten die onze foundation uitvoert voor verschillende Nederlandse en internationale beleidsvoerders en overheidsinstellingen. Onze directeur is daarover ook in gesprek gegaan met Carola Schouten, minister van Landbouw, Natuur & Voedselkwaliteit<\/p>\n

De minister kreeg enkele zouttolerante groentes van onze vestiging op Texel te proeven. Deze werden gepresenteerd in een houten krat dat vanuit Texel werd meegenomen. Tijdens deze dag, hebben meerdere mensen interesse getoond in een bezoek aan ons bedrijf op Texel en geleerd over onze aanpak en het werk wat wij doen.<\/p>\n\t

“De Grune Woche was bijzonder omdat wij waren uitgenodigd door onze overheid om een presentatie te geven over oplossingen voor het wereldwijde verziltingsprobleem en de kansen die dit biedt. Er bestaat nog twijfel over hoe de Nederlanders een rol kunnen spelen in het voedselprobleem dat veroorzaakt wordt door verzilting. <\/em><\/p>\n
\nPersoonlijk was het voor mij ook bijzonder, omdat mijn derde kleinkind geboren is in LA, net na het bezoek van de minister van landbouw, ik ontving hiervoor felicitaties van de hele Nederlandse delegatie. Een gebeurtenis als deze herinnert mij ook aan mijn toewijding aan mijn missie, de wereld een betere plek maken voor de volgende generatie.<\/em>“<\/em>\n<\/blockquote>\n
